The River to become Kiss FM?

107.5 The River will be revamped soon. More of a cosmetic change to update their image and kick start ratings.

What was your source for the latest incarnation of this long-time rumor?

I have heard "Steve" I have heard "Kiss", I have heard "Mike". This rumor has been going for quite some time, yet no change. But if you really think about it, after 10 years listeners still call it Y107. That would be the smartest change, if there were to be a change at all. Woody and Jim are tired though, maybe they should start there instead of imaging? Just a thought.

People are packing up at Cromwell and Citadel. Just more budget cuts?

Add to that the fact that Michael Dickey is on his way back to Atlanta, and you've got a scenario for some big changes coming up in Nashville's radio landscape.

Did they do away with the wind screens at 560? Sounds like everyone over there is spitting in the microphone. I don't remember it being that bad before. It might be the signal is better and you can hear it more?

What does 560 wind screens have to do with the River or Kiss? They do eat their mikes, but I thought that was just the yelling Bill King and Don West do.

107.5 THE DUMP is what they should change too. All Crap All the time! Oh wait a minute that is what they are doing now. Why would you change what works?

Not about the river but... Word has it that Blake Fulton and Joe Biddle have been given their walking papers and are not longer on 106.7 The Fan.
