The all-new Citadel will own ABC Radio. They'll use it all across the group to give top advantages to their own stations. And with Disney shareholders owning 52 percent, you can bet they'll want the stations to carry the radio properties Disney retained. Watch for coming market changes here.

I have a hunch Sean Hannity and Paul Harvey will stay where they are for now, as WLAC and WWTN have contracts.

In cases where contracts can stand, it's just a matter of time if the local Citadel stations want them (in the case of Hannity, one of them would have to flip before that happens). Contract clauses might dictate differently in the case of sales, though. Might not be there, but pretty standard stuff.

You are so right, just a matter of time.

I've heard one station was already planning for such a future and was considering dropping now. They know it is not happening right away, but they are wanting to keep their future in sight.

Why hasn't a new general manager been brought in here? Well, with the upcoming merger, there will be someone displaced from the other comapny that will take the spot. Country format operations will move here. And when there's a new GM in place, they'll shape up the ship here.
